Most people want money simply because it affords one the power to be ‘respectfully’ immoral. I would go so far as to say that if you have enough power & prestige, you don’t even have to try to justify your wrongdoings because your followers will do it for you.
I’ve been seeing quite a few posts on social media filled with emotional “rhetorical anxiety” in lieu of the outcome of this election. But here’s something that I think isn’t being considered amongst the consensus: instead of seeing America as having put on a new mask, perhaps it may have just removed one.
It’s all about picking your battles. A superb warrior needs not accept nor win every one. Lord knows I’ve sat through my share of unjust reprimands and for the greater good I’m willing to stomach many more.
When it comes to dealing with objective truth, many of us are unwilling to deal with it until circumstances force us to do so. Until then we develop superficial justifications for our procrastination. .
One of the major traits of cowardice is feeling the need to apologize for being a good person.
As I see it, there are very few differences that are totally irreconcilable. Because of ego, very few people are willing to put forth effort to work towards mutual understanding. And it is that unnecessary obsessive divisiveness that plays a huge role in humanity’s stagnation.
The way I see it, there’s too much emphasis on living lifestyles and not enough on living life.
For me, the secret to looking good is to not try to. Just take care of yourself and work on “being” good and just let the beauty come to you. Only the shallow-minded and insecure folks will view this as an arrogant post. LOL. Save
To me, having a good sense of humor generally comes from a dark place. It’s not so much self-pity as it is being able to laugh in the face of intense adversity. This is necessary in order to fully enjoy living. So when someone implies that I’m not “serious”, actually I couldn’t be more so.
We all have our caged demons. I believe our resolve is tested at its greatest when someone manages to pick the lock.
