The Power of Immorality

Most people want money simply because it affords one the power to be ‘respectfully’ immoral. I would go so far as to say that if you have enough power & prestige, you don’t even have to try to justify your wrongdoings because your followers will do it for you.

I’ve been seeing quite a few posts on social media filled with emotional “rhetorical anxiety” in lieu of the outcome of this election. But here’s something that I think isn’t being considered amongst the consensus: instead of seeing America as having put on a new mask, perhaps it may have just removed one.

Irreconcilable Differences

As I see it, there are very few differences that are totally irreconcilable. Because of ego, very few people are willing to put forth effort to work towards mutual understanding. And it is that unnecessary obsessive divisiveness that plays a huge role in humanity’s stagnation.

Dark Places Require Light

  To me, having a good sense of humor generally comes from a dark place. It’s not so much self-pity as it is being able to laugh in the face of intense adversity. This is necessary in order to fully enjoy living. So when someone implies that I’m not “serious”, actually I couldn’t be more so.
